Railcraft – Cargo Carts

Yep, those Minecarts have items in them. One thing that has been long on the todo list is to add filters to the Chest Cart. This should help make moving items easier, and look cool while doing it! Anyway have fun!

Lastly, I’d like to direct everyone’s attention to my Patreon Page. There is some cool stuff over there (Beta Access, Custom Emblems, etc….) so be sure to take a look! The fact that you can now see and contribute to Railcraft’s code is a direct result of Patreon. Even better is the new Dark Tower goal! If you’d like to continue to see even greater things, be sure to pass some support along!

I’m a big fan of this mod, but currently it’s taking too long until it’s ported to a new version of minecraft. Minecraft 1.8 exists for more than 1 year but I still cannot use it along with railcraft. Finally I stopped playing minecraft.

    • Thomas Kroll says:

As we all would like the mods to be ported to 1.8 and eventually 1.9, it takes a lot of re-coding to get them to work from each major version–mostly because of the way Minecraft is obfuscated and changed. 1.8 saw the introduction of actual named items (minecraft:bucket) as apposed to just using a number (56 (not a bucket I think). So that changes the code a bit for modders. Most of the major modders have them in Beta, so if you are willing to deal with big bugs, then Beta would be good for you. However, if you are looking for release clients, then patience is the virtue here. 🙂

I love this mod and can’t wait for this to be updated to work with the newest release of Minecraft. I wonder what changes need to be made to make it compatible?
